Robert (Bob) Krogh – CO – PSA Instructor and PSA PRO Team
We are pleased to welcome Bob as the newest member of our PSA PRO Team. Bob is a dedicated, disciplined shooter who has come far in just a short time. His passion and drive to both understand performance as well as do what is necessary to be a top level shooter make him an outstanding competitor, student and instructor.
He has an enthusiasm for learning and shooting that is a pleasure to be around. He enjoys both the practical as well as the tactical side of shooting and is always willing to learn new things. With our training, in just a few short months, he has risen to a level far above the vast majority of tactical or practical shooters to include cops, military or civilians. Yet, he remains humble, wanting to learn more about all aspects of performance in both deadly force arenas and competitive shooting.
He is an asset to us and we think you will like him as well!
Ron Avery, President, PSA Inc.

Bob Krogh Bio:
My love affair with shooting began like many others, at the age of 6 and under the tutelage of my father. Upon firing my first round, I knew this was something I wanted to do again and again.
Today that desire is coupled with the drive to become as efficient and precise as possible in all forms of shooting. I love to compete and see how good I can be and over the course of my life I have become proficient in many different disciplines, including 3-D archery, benchrest rifle shooting, trap & skeet and long range varmint hunting.
The only type of shooting I had never pursued was handgun and that all changed in the spring of 2011 when my brother in law and I took a class with Ron. The raw excitement of pistol shooting coupled with the fact that I wasn’t very good at it at the time left me with a crystal clear goal, to unleash my natural ability in an attempt to become a serious competitor.
I chose to continue to work with Ron and he has been instrumental in my progression, sharing his many years of experience and knowledge and allowing me to unlock the speed and accuracy that I could not access before his training.
While handgun shooting is my current focus, I always enjoy dragging the long guns out of the vault to go play, although sometimes a dirt bike ride on a mountain trail or a snowmobile trip is just what the doctor ordered.
I am new to competitive handgun shooting but I have been able to achieve the following in the first 6 months of training with Ron.
- 2011 Colorado IDPA state championships Most accurate (1st match ever)
- 2011 Colorado USPSA state championship HOA Single Stack division
- 2011 Mile High Showdown HOA Single Stack division
- 2011 Utah USPSA state championship HOA Single Stack division
I look forward to being an instructor for the Practical Shooting Academy and share what I have learned with others who would like to unleash their potential!
